As part of the Sustainable Built Environment (SBE) Conference Series, which has been held in over 50 countries since 2000, SBE16 Istanbul took place for the first time in Turkey under the organization of Turkey IMSAD. The conference was held from October 13-15, 2016, at Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul, with Lineadecor participating as a DESIGN PARTNER.

During the three-day conference, Lineadecor Product Development Manager Timur Erbil delivered a speech on Universal Design, stating: "Universal design is about creating environments and products that are accessible to the broadest range of people without requiring special adaptations. The key point here is that the designed space or product should appear and feel natural. Ultimately, we must integrate individuals with disabilities, the elderly, or those with different needs into the natural flow of life without stigmatizing or isolating them."
